Our family-friend Ellen just had twins! They came home from the hospital with a gigantic bag of winter hats, which is great, because baby’s heads need to be kept warm. However, they were born in spring and they didn’t have any sunhats! I remembered having a bucket hat that I loved when I was a toddler, so I wanted to make them hats like that. I used a tutorial that you can find here that teaches you how to make it any size you want, so you could potentially make one for anyone. I used a 17 inch head circumference for the measurements and also added straps to tie, so that the hats don’t fall off.
